Hapag-Lloyd will launch a new Asia-South America East Coast Express (ASX) service connecting Qingdao, Ningbo, Shekou, Tanjung Pelepas, Santos, Itajai, Rio Grande, Paranagua, Santos, Singapore, Qingdao from April 2027. The ASX service will turn in 13 weeks with 13 ships that will include several of the 11,923 teu ships that Hapag-Lloyd currently deploys on the AS2/Ipanema/SX1 service jointly operated with MSC and ONE that will be dissolved in April 2027.
