Zim will launch a new ZIM Falcon Service (ZFS) connecting Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Yantian, Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Paranagua, Navegantes, Montevideo, Bueno Aires, Shanghai from 13 September 2026. The service will turn in 77 days and will deploy 11 ships of 5,000 to 8,000 teu that are solely operated by Zim. MSC will launch a new Sierra service calling at Shanghai, Qingdao, Busan, Manzanillo, Lazaro Cardenas, Shanghai from 24 June 2026. The service will turn in 49 days using up to 7 ships of 4,000 to 9,000 teu starting with the 9,411 teu MSC DOMITILLE at Shanghai on 24 June 2026.
Maersk has announced the launch of a new Far East-West Coast South America AC1 service connecting Ningbo, Busan, Lazaro Cardenas, Buenaventura, Guayaquil, Ningbo from 4 July 2026. The service will turn in 56 days deploying 8 ships of 3,400 to 4,600 teu starting with the first sailing at Ningbo on 4 July 2026 with the 4,298 teu REN JIAN 8, followed in successive weeks by the 4,253 teu KOTA LUKIS, 4,578 teu DYROS, 4,250 teu NAVIOS DORADO and 3,316 teu HUA XIN 758.
CMA CGM will combine its current Asia Central South America 1 (ACSA1) and Mexico Express (M2X) service from June 2026. The revised Asia Central South America 1 (ACSA1) will be extended to call at Busan, Xingang, Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, Manzanillo, Lazaro Cardenas, Buenaventura, San Antonio, Chancay, Callao, Posorja, Yokohama, Busan using 13 ships of 13,000 teu to 15,000 teu on a 91 days rotation. The M2X will be withdrawn and the Mexico calls on the service are transferred to the revised ACS
Premier Alliance partners HMM, ONE and Yang Ming will launch a new Vietnam Shuttle Express (VSE)/Far East Latin Pendulum (FLP) service calling at Singapore, Cai Mep, Haiphong, Los Angeles, Busan, Shanghai, Shekou, Singapore, Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Itapoa, Singapore from 28 April 2026. The VSE/FLP will turn in 17 weeks, using 17 ships of 5,000-7,000 teu. CMA CGM has added a new South American feeder service branded as the Motagua Express calling at Kingston, Puerto Cortes, Puerto Barrios, Pointe a Pitre, Kingston from 31 December 2025. The service turns in 3 weeks and deploys the 1,740 teu PERITO MORENO, 1,841 teu CMA CGM BALBOA and 1,341 teu LM ARES.
MSC will add new calls at Abu Dhabi and Itapoa on its Far East-East Coast South America Carioca service from October 2025. The revised Carioca rotation will call at Qingdao, Busan, Ningbo, Shanghai, Shekou, Singapore, Vizhinjam, Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Paranagua, Itapoa, Itajai, Buenos Aires, Rio Grande, Itajai, Navegantes, Santos, Rio de Janeiro, Walvis Bay, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Qingdao. The service will turn in 16 weeks using up to 16 ships of 8,500 to 11,500 teu.
COSCO and OOCL will launch a new Asia-Mexico Express (WSA8/TLP8) service connecting Shanghai, Qingdao, Ensenada, Manzanillo, Ensenada, Yokohama, Shanghai from 20 August 2025. The WSA8/TLP8 service will turn in 7 weeks and willl deploy 7 ships of 3,300 to 4,300 teu to starting with the 4,250 teu XIN FANG CHENG at Shanghai on 20 August 2025.
MSC will launch a new Far East-South America West Coast Alpaca service connecting Nansha, Hong Kong, Ningbo, Busan, Callao, Arica, Iquique, San Antonio, Nansha from September 2025. The first sailing is scheduled at Ningbo on 23 September with the 4,600 teu MSC LOME V, with up to 8 ships of 4,200 to 5,000 teu slated to join the service.
Maersk will replace 2 existing services connecting North Europe-Caribbean with a new CAX service that will connect Antwerp, Southampton, Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Newark, Manzanillo (Pan), Puerto Antioquia, Moin, Manzanillo (Pan), Antwerp using 7 gearless ships of 5,500 teu starting with the 5,560 teu MAERSK MONTE LINZOR at Moin on 26 September 2025, with the MAERSK MONTE ALTO making the southbound voyage concurrently from Antwerp on 29 September.
