Kalypso launches Cristoforo Colombo Line

Kalypso, part of the Italian Rif Line Group, will launch a new Cristoforo Colombo Line transatlantic service connecting Italy, Spain and US from November 2022. The new service will start from 8 Nov with the 3,091 teu HAMMONIA LIPSIA at Mersin, to be followed on 24 Nov by the 1,795 teu EMORA. The initial Mersin call will be dropped from December and the service will then call Salerno, La Spezia, Sagunto, New York, Salerno using the 2 ships running on a 26 day rotation with sailings every 13-14 d

COSCO to join CMA CGM on the new MedGulf Service

COSCO will join CMA CGM on the MedGulf Service that calls at Genoa, Valencia, Miami, Veracruz, Altamira, Houston, Tanger Med, Genoa. COSCO will add one of the six ships of 2,000-3,000 teu on this new service that is hitherto operated independently by CMA CGM. CMA CGM will become a new partner of COSCO, OOCL and ONE on the East Med-America (EMA) service, contributing one of the six ships to be used on this service from the end of November 2022. MSC launch Le Havre-Boston transatlantic shuttle

MSC will launch a unique Le Havre-Boston transatlantic shuttle service to take advantage of booming transatlantic demand. The new service will start on 4 April with the 2,564 teu MSC SAMIRA III. The service will turn in 5 weeks using 5 ships of 2.500-3,400 teu. 3 of these ships are redeployed from the Baltic feeder service where volumes have been affected by the drop in Russian volumes.
