MSC will launch a revised USA-West Africa-South Africa Express (USWASA Express), service from 1 October 2025, with the addition of new calls at West Africa to replace its current USA to South Africa service that it jointly operates with Maersk. The USWASA will call at New York, Baltimore, Savannah, Freeport, Lome, Durban, Coega, Cape Town, San Pedro, New York with an additional call at Philadelphia to added on a seasonal basis. COSCO has added a new call at Yangpu on the OCEAN Alliance PSW6 service from 10 August 2025 to offer direct connections between Hainan and the US West Coast. The revised PSW6 service will call at Cai Mep, Yangpu, Nansha, Yantian, Kaohsiung, Long Beach, Cai Mep starting from August 2025 with the former call at Hong Kong dropped. Premier Alliance carriers (HMM, ONE and Yang Ming) will split its current Mediterranean Pacific South 2 (MS2) into 2 separate services covering the Asia-Med Mediterranean 2 (MD2) service and the Middle East Gulf-US Gulf Pacific South 2 (GS2) service. The move will allow ONE to remove 10 China built ships currently deployed on the MS2 service from the US with the planned USTR port fee scheduled to take effect from October 2025. Wan Hai will return to the Asia-Med trade with the launch of the new Far East-Mediterranean 1 (FM1) service calling at Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Shekou, Port Klang, Jeddah, Aqaba, Sokhna, Alexandria, Izmit, Ambarli, Shanghai from 12 September 2025. The FM1 service will turn in 10 weeks using ships of 4,300 teu to 5,000 teu starting with the 4,680 teu WAN HAI 513 at Shanghai on 12 September. COSCO and OOCL will launch a new Asia-Mexico Express (WSA8/TLP8) service connecting Shanghai, Qingdao, Ensenada, Manzanillo, Ensenada, Yokohama, Shanghai from 20 August 2025. The WSA8/TLP8 service will turn in 7 weeks and willl deploy 7 ships of 3,300 to 4,300 teu to starting with the 4,250 teu XIN FANG CHENG at Shanghai on 20 August 2025.
Sinotrans has replaced its China India West (CIW) service operated in partnership with SeaLead with a new CIW service operated in partnership with COSCO on the latter's China India 1 (CI1) service. Sinotrans will operate the 4,130 teu REN JIAN 19 on the CI1/CIW service from 28 June 2025 connecting Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Yangpu, Singapore, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Karachi, Colombo, Singapore, Shanghai, joining 5 other ships from COSCO of 8,500 to 9,500 teu.

Maersk has introduced a new JP1 service connecting Dalian, Qingdao, Yokohama, Nagoya, Kobe, Dalian from 1 August 2025. The service turns in 14 days and deploys the 1,714 teu MCC SHENZHEN and 1,762 MTT SAPANGAR on a weekly frequency. ONE takes slots on the Maersk JP1 service as the IA9.
MSC will launch a new Far East-South America West Coast Alpaca service connecting Nansha, Hong Kong, Ningbo, Busan, Callao, Arica, Iquique, San Antonio, Nansha from September 2025. The first sailing is scheduled at Ningbo on 23 September with the 4,600 teu MSC LOME V, with up to 8 ships of 4,200 to 5,000 teu slated to join the service.
Maersk will replace 2 existing services connecting North Europe-Caribbean with a new CAX service that will connect Antwerp, Southampton, Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Newark, Manzanillo (Pan), Puerto Antioquia, Moin, Manzanillo (Pan), Antwerp using 7 gearless ships of 5,500 teu starting with the 5,560 teu MAERSK MONTE LINZOR at Moin on 26 September 2025, with the MAERSK MONTE ALTO making the southbound voyage concurrently from Antwerp on 29 September.
