Russian operator Transit Line has launched a direct China to St Petersburg service on 30 March 2023 with the 2,193 teu XIN LONG YUN 86 which will be the largest ship that the Russian operator has operated so far. The new service will connect Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Nansha, St Petersburg. Only 1 sailing has been advertised so far.
Delo Group's Ruscon has partnered with Mountain Air Shipping (MAS), an international container shipping company based in Dubai, to operate a new liner service connecting Istanbul and St. Petersburg. The first sailing from Turkey was made on 30 January 2023 with the 707 teu SASCO ANIVA. The service will operate monthly and turns in 36 days, with a transit time of 15-17 days between Ambarli (Kumport) and St Petersburg (FCT).
FESCO has introduced a new FESCO Indian Line West (FILW) service connecting Novorossiysk, Ambarli, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Novorossiysk. The service will be operated on a fortnightly basis starting from 1 March 2023, with the first sailing expected to use the 1,440 teu GFS SAPPHIRE.
OVP Shipping has launched a new Baltic Sea direct service that connects Qingdao, Ningbo, Taicang, Nansha, St Petersburg, Qingdao. ARRC Line has launched a new service connecting Russia and India. The service started on 3 September 2022 with the 1,829 teu general cargo vessel ATLANTIC NAVIGATOR II. Shenzhen based Nep Logistics has launched its first international shipping service that connects Nansha and Vladivostok using the newly acquired 443 teu multi-purpose cargo ship NEPTUNE LINE. The ship was formerly operating under the Chinese flag as BAO AN CHENG 69 on the domestic routes.
