Medkon introduces Russia Express Service (RES)

Medkon Lines has launched a new Russia Express Service (RES) calling at Mersin, Aliaga, Ambarli, Novorossiysk, Alexandria, Mersin from 23 June 2023 with the newly acquired 1,135 teu MEDKON LIA. A second ship, the 1,134 teu MEDKON PERLA is expected to join the service. The ship is newly acquired by Medkon and is cyrrently positioning from China to the Med.

Heung-A/Sinokor adds Vietnam-Russia connection on HPS1

Heung-A/Sinokor have extended its Haiphong-Busan Service 1 (HPS 1) to the Russia Far East since June 2023 with the revised rotation calling at Busan, Ulsan, Kwangyang, Hong Kong, Haiphong, Hong Kong, Shekou, Xiamen, Kwangyang, Busan, Vladivostok, Busan. The service will call at 2 terminals in Vlaidvostok - Vladivostok Fishery Port and Vladivostok Container Terminal (VCT). The HPS1 3 ships of 1,003 on a 3 week rotation - the HEUNG-A HAIPHONG, HEUNG-A XIAMEN, HEUNG-A AKITA.

FESCO Black Sea Service launched to complement FESCO Baltorient Line connecting China, India and Russia

FESCO has launched a new FESCO Black Sea Service (FBSS) connecting Rizhao, Shanghai, Shekou, Nhava Sheva, Novorossiysk with the 1,118 teu FESCO ASKOLD making the maiden voyage from Rizhao on 12 June 2023. The ship is scheduled to arrive at Novorossiysk on 19 July after a 36 day one-way transit. Safetrans/OVP/Mountain Air launch Med-Baltic and Black Sea feeder services

Safetrans, OVP Shipping and Mountan Air Shipping have launched two new feeder services to provide relay connections for their joint service from China to connect to the Russan market through the Baltic and Black Sea gateways of St Petersburg and Novorossiysk. The Med-Baltic Feeder will connect Ambarli and St Petersburg and currently deploys 3 ships from OVP - OVP ARIES (2,464 teu), ALLSEAS PIONEER (1,878 teu), HUA XIANG 936 (1,675 teu). 2 more ships will be added in July 2023 with the frequency

Neco Line has added a new link connecting the Indian subcontinent with western Russia. The service will deploy 2 ships of 500-1,700 teu that is currently operates on irregular rotations to both eastern and western Russia. The 1,740 teu CRYSTAL ST. Global Field Line establish new China-UAE-Russia connections

Global Field Line (GFL) has added new port calls and increased frequencies on its China-UAE-Russia service with relay connections at Jebel Ali. The service was first launched on 27 February 2023 with the 1,725 teu SHUN LONG that operates on the Jebel Ali, St Petersburg, Jebel Ali route, with a second ship, the 1,498 teu OCEAN SILKWAY to join on 4 June 2023 on the same route. FESCO revives Baltorient Line service connecting China and St Petersburg

FESCO has revived its former FESCO Baltorient Line (FBOL) brand for a new direct service connecting China and St Petersburg that operates on a monthly basis. The FBOL will connect Rizhao, Lianyungang, Ningbo, Shanghai, Yantian, Mundra, St Petersburg, Rizhao on a 80-88 day rotation using 3 ships of 2,400-3,000 teu with inducement calls on the backhaul leg from St Petersburg that are currently scheduled to call at Xingang (on 1 June 2023), Durban (on 2 July 2023) and Mundra (on 18 July 2023). Modul introduces St Petersburg-Latin America connection

Russian carrier Modul has launched a new Modul America Russia Express (MAREX) service that connects St Petersburg with Paranagua and Santos.
