PIL adds Zanzibar Shuttle (ZNS)

PIL will resume calls at Zanzibar in Tanzania with the launch of the new Zanzibar Shuttle (ZNS) that will call at Mombasa, Zanzibar, Mombasa starting from 16 March 2023. The ship to be deployed has not yet been named. The feeder service will tranship at Mombasa in Kenya to PIL's EAS service that connects Mombasa, Port Klang, Singapore, Nansha, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Singapore, Port Klang, Mombasa.

PIL and IRIS Logistics to launch new Philippines-Singapore-Thailand service

PIL will team up with IRIS Logistics, the shipping arm of Philippine's Royal Cargo group to launch a new Philippines-Singapore-Thailand from 15 February 2023. The new Thailand Philippines Straits (TPS) service will call at Manila, Singapore, Bangkok, Laem Chabang and will turn in 2 weeks using the 1,118 teu IRIS PAOAY from IRIS Logistics and the 1,080 teu KOTA HAPAS from PIL. Port rotation of the new Thailand Philuppines Straits (TPS) serviceIt will replace IRIS Logistics' current Manila-Bang

PIL/CUL/ESL/KMTC/RCL/Wan Hai upgrade Middle East Gulf-China Service

The Middle East Gulf-China service that is jointly operated by a consortium of 6 carriers (PIL/CUL/ESL/KMTC/RCL/Wan Hai) will be upgraded from 9 January 2023 with new calls at Hamad and Singapore (westbound). The revised rotation will call at Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Shekou, Singapore, Jebel Ali, Dammam, Hamad, Singapore, Shanghai. The service was first launched in November 2021 and is branded respectively as the Gulf China Service (GCS) by PIL and KMTC, Asia Gulf Express (AGX) by CUL, Gulf Ch

ESL/PIL adds new South China Philippines (SCP) service

Emirates Shipping Line (ESL) and Pacific International Lines (PIL) will launch a new South China Philippines (SCP) service connecting  Xiamen, Nansha, Shekou, Manila, Cebu, Xiamen from 3 January 2023. The SCP will turn in 2 weeks, using the 1,080 teu KOTA HAKIM from PIL and a second ship to be named from ESL. Port rotation of the new South China Philippines (SCP) service

PIL/YM/WHL launch WS6/SA8/AS2 service to WCSA

PIL, WHL and YM will launch West Coast South America 6 (WS6), a weekly service connecting Ningbo, Shanghai, Qingdao, Busan, Manzanillo (Mexico), Lazaro Cardenas, Puerto Quetzal, Buenaventura, Valparaiso, Ningbo. The service will start with 4,662 teu YM ENLIGHTENMENT calling Ningbo on 13 July.

CNC, PIL and RCL to launch new new China-Korea-Thailand-Vietnam service

CNC, PIL and RCL will launch a new weekly service connecting Xingang, Dalian, Incheon, Qingdao, Shanghai, Laem Chabang, Ho Chi Minh City using four ships of 2,400-2,800 teu. The service will start at Xingang on 1 July with the 2,478 teu APL CAIRO.

PIL to launch new South China Thailand Vietnam link

PIL will launch a new Thailand China Vietnam (TCV) service calling at Laem Chabang, Qinzhou, Haiphong, Ho Chi Minh City, Laem Chabang. The service will start from 3 June from Laem Chabang with the 777 teu KOTA RATNA. The service will turn in 2 weeks, with sailings provided every fortnight. A second ship is expected to be added later with the frequency to be upgraded to weekly.

IAL/PIL/RCL to launch new China Vietnam India service

Interasia Lines, Pacific International Lines and Regional Container Lines will jointly launch a new China India service in April. The service is branded by the respective partners as the China-Saigon-India/China Vietnam India/RCL Far East Madras 2 (CSI/CVI/RFM2). The service will call at Ningbo, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Port Klang, Ho Chi Minh City, Ningbo using 4 ships of 1,7000-2,400 teu of which PIL will contribute 2 ships while IAL and RCL will provide
