MSC introduces India-West Med service

MSC will launch a new India-West Med service connecting Abu Dhabi, Jebel Ali, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Djibouti, Gioia Tauro, Genoa, Barcelona, Valencia, Salerno, Gioia Tauro, Marsaxlokk, King Abdullah, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi. The first sailings will depart from Abu Dhabi on 19 December 2022 with the 4,992 teu MSC SHANGHAI.

Zim/2M suspends ZSE/TP23/Liberty FE-USEC service

Zim, Maersk and MSC will suspend their jointly operated ZSE/TP23/Liberty service that currently covers Tanjung Pelepas, Cai Mep, Yantian, Charleston, Savannah, New York (intermittently omitted), Tanjung Pelepas. The last sailing will depart from Tanjung Pelepas on 23 November 2022 with the 5,936 teu IAN H. MSC launched Dolphin Service

MSC is launching Dolphin Service that calls Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Jakarta, Surabaya, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Laem Chabang, Cai Mep, Shanghai. So far two vessel, 3,108 teu MSC LILOU and 2,741 teu MSC CAPE III, have been deployed to this service with MSC CAPE III to phase in at Shanghai on Nov 5. MSC LILOU will phase in on Nov 28 at Shanghai after coming out of drydock.

2M withdraws TP3/Sequoia transpacific service

Maersk and MSC have suspended their jointly operated TP3/Sequoia transpacific service, with the last sailing made by the 14,036 teu MSC SAVONA from Shanghai on 22 September 2022. The service called at Ningbo, Shanghai, Los Angeles/Long Beach, Ningbo using 6 ships of 11,000-15,000 teu running on an 8 week rotation.
