BAL Container Line has stopped its container services following the final voyage of the 3,534 teu NORTHERN DEBONAIR that finished its China-Mexico Express (CMX) sailing at Qingdao on 9 January 2023. SeaLead maintains China-LA link through slots on Transfar

SeaLead will continue to serve the China-US West Coast market by taking slots on Transfar's sailings between Ningbo and Long Beach from November 2022. SeaLead has ceased to call at the US West Coast since 15 October when the 3,534 teu SONIC made its last call at Long Beach. Under the new agreement signed on 3 November 2022, Transfar will sell up to 83 teu on a space used basis to SeaLead on its AES1 service that currently calls at Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Long Beach, Lazaro Cardenas, Manzan

BAL adds China Vietnam and China Indonesia services

BAL has added a second service connecting China and Vietnam with the launch of the China Vietnam Express (CVX) in April. The service deploys 2 ships of 1,000-1,200 teu and connects Taicang, Ningbo, Haiphong, Ho Chi Minh City, Taicang. The first sailing was made by the 1,042 teu XIN MING ZHOU 18 on 12 April 2022 and followed by the 1,179 teu BAOHANG on 19 April. BAL launch South China-Vietnam service

BAL Container Line has launched a new South China-Vietnam Express (SVX) service that connects Nansha, Da Chan Bay and Ho Chi Minh City. The 706 teu BAL STAR initiated the service at Nansha on 18 December 2021. The ship was previously chartered by BAL to CK Line and was operating on the South Korea, China, Vietnam route until 13 December 2021.
