Zim has withdrawn the ZIM eCommerce Xpress (ZEX) service with the last sailing
by the 4,253 teu ALEXANDER BAY that will complete its current voyage at Busan on
30 March 2023.
The ZEX was launched in June 2020 to cater for the increased demand on the
transpacific following the COVID-19 crisis and was originally designed to call
only at Yantian, Dachan Bay, Los Angeles on a 35 day round trip using 5 ships of
4,250 teu.
