MSC has launched 2 adhoc services linking linking Australia to Southeast Asia
hub ports to cater to cargo overflows since December. The KANGAROO service links
Singapore and Tanjung Pelepas to Melbourne, Sydney and BRISBANE on irregular
rotations using ships of 1,100 to 5,000 teu.
The KOALA service is a new service that connects Singapore and Tanjung Pelepas
to Fremantle, with ad hoc calls at Jakarta also added on an irregular basis. The
