SeaLead maintains China-LA link through slots on Transfar

SeaLead will continue to serve the China-US West Coast market by taking slots on Transfar's sailings between Ningbo and Long Beach from November 2022. SeaLead has ceased to call at the US West Coast since 15 October when the 3,534 teu SONIC made its last call at Long Beach. Under the new agreement signed on 3 November 2022, Transfar will sell up to 83 teu on a space used basis to SeaLead on its AES1 service that currently calls at Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Long Beach, Lazaro Cardenas, Manzan

CU Lines commits to new TPC transpacific service

CU Lines has committed to continue  operating the Transpacific Express II (TPC) service through 2023 with a new cooperation with Trapac in the port of Los Angeles that will ensure a more reliable schedule to the US West Coast. Swire Shipping and UWL have committed to operate the Sun Chief Express service between Vietnam and Seattle until 2024. CUL to launch 3rd Transpacific string

China United Lines (CUL) has launched the Transpacific Express III (TPN) service, its 3rd tranpacific service. The service started on 5 May with the 1,868 teu XIN MING ZHOU 106 calling at Haiphong, Ho Chi Minh City, Nansha, Ningbo, Qingdao, Los Angeles, Oakland. A sistership, XIN MING ZHOU 108 will also join the service on 20 May at Ningbo. The port rotation of this new service is irregular but is expected to call at Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Yantian, Los Angeles, Oakland, Qingdao.
