CMA CGM will launch a new India East Coast Express 2 (IEX 2) service connecting Singapore, Chennai, Colombo, Singapore from the end of May 2022. The service turn in 2 weeks using 2 ships of 1,700 teu starting from Singapore on 30 May 2022 with the 1,732 SONGA TIGER.

CMA CGM, COSCO and OOCL to launch 4th Northeast Asia-Australia loop

ANL/CMA CGM, COSCO and OOCL will launch a new A3 Express (A3X) service connecting Shanghai, Shekou, Brisbane and Sydney from 12 July 2022 (Launch date originally scheduled for 31 May 2022 but have been postponed). Unifeeder will launch a new feeder Mozambique India Middle East (MIM) service connecting Maputo in Mozambique to Jebel Ali and Mundra. PIL launch Singapore Surabaya Express

PIL will launch a new Singapore Surabaya Express (SSE) shuttle service from 21 April 2022 connecting Singapore and Surabaya with the 1,802 teu KOTA NALURI. This service will be operated as part of a multi-carrier arrangement that shares slots on the Singapore-Surabaya route that also includes COSCO, Samudera and X-Press Feeders to offer 2-3 sailings per week on this route, using 3 other ships of 2,100 to 2,700 teu.

MSC launch new China-Bangladesh service

MSC will launch a new Bengal Service connecting South China and Bangladesh. The service will start on 27 April with the  1,732 teu MSC KYMEA from Hong Kong. The service calls at Hong Kong, Yantian, Shekou, Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas, Chittagong, Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas, Hong Kong and will deploy 4 ships of 1,600-2,000 teu. MSC launch Le Havre-Boston transatlantic shuttle

MSC will launch a unique Le Havre-Boston transatlantic shuttle service to take advantage of booming transatlantic demand. The new service will start on 4 April with the 2,564 teu MSC SAMIRA III. CUL introduces new Asia East Med (AEM) service

China United Lines (CUL) has launched a new Asia-East Mediterranean Sea Service (AEM) in March 2022. The service kicked off on 10 March 2022 with the 4,395 teu REN JIAN 16 calling at Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Ashdod, Ambarli, Piraeus, Qingdao with an ad-hoc westbound call at Cai Mep also added. The service is currently running on a monthly basis, with the second sailing scheduled on 8 April 2022 with the 2,492 teu GROTON.
