Wan Hai's Asia America 9 (AA9)/Asia America Service IX connecting Far East-US East Coast has been streamlined into a eastbound round-the-world rotation with a new call at Philadelphia added since 18 August 2022 as  well as new calls at Balboa and Shanghai added since October 2022. CMA CGM will add a new westbound call at Jeddah on the INDAMEX 2 service connecting the Indian Subcontinent with the US East Coast. The revised rotation will start from 1 January 2023 can call at Port Qasim, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Jeddah (new call from 11 Jan 2023), Norfolk, Charleston, Savannah, Port Qasim. Zhonggu Shipping has expanded further outside of its core China domestic market with the launch of its new China Malaysia Indonesia (CMI) service in November 2022. The new service connects Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Port Klang, Jakarta, Surabaya, Qingdao and turns in 4 weeks using 4 ships of 1,900-2,500 teu. CMA CGM is launching another shuttle connecting Guyana and Trinidad. The new shuttle will deploy a single ship 167 teu CEDRIC K calling Georgetown and Port of Spain. CEDRIC K, currently deployed in St Martin & other islands service (Leeward 2), is phasing in on 4 Jan at Port of Spain.

Zim has withdrawn its North China Australia Express (C3A) service from December 2022. The last sailing was made by the 1,717 teu OPHELIA that ended its rotation at Brisbane on 23 December 2022. The service was first launched at the end of February 2022 and called at Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Busan, Ningbo, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Xingang. The service turned in 6 weeks using ships of 1,7000=2,700 teu.

The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) will launch a new Europe-Asia Pendulum Service that calls at Dalian, Shanghai, Ennore, Jeddah, Montoir, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Jeddah, Dalian from 31 December 2022. THE Alliance carriers (Hapag-Lloyd, HMM, ONE and Yang Ming) have started to divert the ships on the EC4 backhaul voyages via the Cape of Good Hope starting with the departures from the US East Coast in November 2022. Sinokor has ventured out of its core intra-Asia services for the first time, with the launch of a new Asia-Black Sea service that connects several Asian ports with the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk. The 1,512 teu SAWASDEE SINGAPORE has made the first voyage from Asia from 5 December 2022 calling at Incheon, Busan, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Port Klang, Novorossiysk. RCL has teamed up with CMA CGM's intra-Asia carrier, CNC, to launch a new Yangon Cambodia Express (YGX) service that connects Singapore, Port Klang, Yangon, Port Klang, Singapore, Sihanoukville, Singapore from 3 January 2023. The service will deploy 3 ships on a 21 day rotation, starting with the 1,060 teu GREEN PACIFIC from CNC and followed by 2 more ships from RCL - the 928 teu NITHI BHUM and 1,118 teu OTANA BHUM.

MSC will revise the port rotation on its Northwest Continent to South Africa (NWC to South Africa) service with no additional ports added and the double call at Cape Town is dropped in order to enhance schedule reliability.
