IRIS Lines have pulled out from the international markets and have returned to its Philippines roots after pulling out the 1,118 teu IRIS PAOAY from the Thailand Philippines route. The IRIS PAOAY was acquired by IRIS Lines in 2017 and was trading in the Philippines domestic routes until 23 September 2021 when IRIS redeployed the ship to the Transpacific. PIL will team up with IRIS Logistics, the shipping arm of Philippine's Royal Cargo group to launch a new Philippines-Singapore-Thailand from 15 February 2023.
