Meratus has launched a new China Vietnam Indonesia X-Press (CV/CIDX) service connecting Shanghai, Nansha, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Surabaya, Semarang, Shanghai from October 2026. The service operates on a fortnightly frequency using 2 ships of 693 teu on a 30 day rotation starting with the MERATUS KUMAI at Ho Chi Minh City on 1 October 2026. The service connects at Jakarta to Meratus services to Timor Leste (Dili) and Papua New Guinea (Lae and Motukea).
Meratus has launched a new Papua New Guinea Express (PNG Express) service that connects Jakarta, Surabaya, Dili, Motukea, Lae, Jakarta from 7 February with the 1,005 teu MERATUS GORONTALO. The service will be operated on a fortnightly basis with a 28 day turnaround with a second vessel, the 1,129 teu MERATUS 1 to join the service on 22 February.
