SITC has launched a new Yangon Chennai Service (YCS) calling at Yangon, Chennai, Yangon from 12 August 2024. The service turns in around 8 to 10 days amd deploys the 1,032 teu SITC HAIPHONG that joined the service at Chennai on 12 August 2024.

SITC launch Malaysia-India-Myanmar (MIM) service

SITC has launched a new Malaysia-India-Myanmar (MIM) service calling at Port Klang, Haldia, Yangon, Port Klang from 5 June 2024. The MIM turns in 14 days and deploys 2 ships of 907 teu starting with the SITC NAGOYA at Haldia on 5 June and followed by the SITC TIANJIN.

COSCO, PIL & RCL launch Straits-Yangon service

COSCO, PIL and RCL have launched a new jointly operated Straits-Yangon service calling at Singapore, Yangon, Port Klang, Yangon, Singapore from 2 May 2023 that are branded respectively as the SYM1 (Singapore-Yangon-Malaysia 1), YGS (Yangon Service), RSY (RCL Straits Yangon Service). The service turns in 21 days using the 1,367 teu ISEACO WISDOM from COSCO, 1,080 teu KOTA HAPAS from PIL and 928 teu NITHI BHUM from RCL and will provide weekly connections between Singapore and Yangon on the first

Continental Shipping Line (CSL) repudiated Euroseas charter

Continental Shipping Line (CSL) has repudiated the charter for Euroseas' 1,471 teu AEGEAN EXPRESS that was originally fixed in April 2022 for a period of 36 months at a daily time charter rate of $41,000. The ship was drydocked in October 2022 and was still undergoing the drydock in January 2023 when CSL repudiated the charter. Samudera merge Yangon service with Central Vietnam service

Samudera Shipping has merged 2 Southeast Asian feeder services into an extended rotation connecting Yangon, Singapore, Quinhon, Danang, Singapore, Yangon. The extended service will replace the Singapore Yangon Service (YGX) and Central Vietnam Service (CVS) and the 3 ships that are currently operating on these services have been phased into the new service - the 1,054 teu SINAR SOLO and SINAR BANDUNG, together with the 1,048 teu SINAR BANDA.

MTT Shipping launch Straits-Yangon service

MTT Shipping has launched a new Straits Yangon service connecting Singapore, Port Klang, Yangon, (Penang-optional), Singapore using the 1,162 teu MTT SAISUNEE. The service will start from Singapore  on 19 February 2023 and will operate with a single ship on a 13-14 day frequency.
