Matson has added a new expedited service connecting Haiphong in North Vietnam to the US West Coast by transhipment in Shanghai using the Jin Jiang Shipping operated China Haiphong 3 (CHH3) feeder service. Shanghai Jin Jiang Shipping (JJ Shipping) is launching CHH3, a new connection between China and Vietnam. This new weekly service will turnaround in 14-days going through Qingdao, Shanghai, Nansha, Haiphong, Shanghai, Qingdao with two vessels. The 1,098 teu MILD JAZZ will phase in on 7 March at Nansha. MILD JAZZ has been servicing in JJ Shipping's Four Season Express or CHH2, which connects Japan, East China and Vietnam.
Jin Jiang Shipping has launched a new butterfly service that connects Dalian with the Kanto and Kansai ports in Japan. SITC and Jin Jiang Shipping (JJS) have revised their jointly operated China-Thailand-Vietnam (VTX5/CTX2) service, with a completely revised rotation from October 2022. The service was launched on 1 June 2022 and had originally called at Shanghai, Nansha, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai. The service will start on 1 Jun from Shanghai with the 1,608 teu HE JIN from Jin Jiang Shipping and is branded as the China Thailand Express 2 (CTX2) by JJS and Vietnam Thailand Express 5 (VTX5) by SITC.
