PIL and IRIS Logistics to launch new Philippines-Singapore-Thailand service

PIL will team up with IRIS Logistics, the shipping arm of Philippine's Royal Cargo group to launch a new Philippines-Singapore-Thailand from 15 February 2023. The new Thailand Philippines Straits (TPS) service will call at Manila, Singapore, Bangkok, Laem Chabang and will turn in 2 weeks using the 1,118 teu IRIS PAOAY from IRIS Logistics and the 1,080 teu KOTA HAPAS from PIL. ASL and ESL team up in revised North China Philippines Express (NPX2/NPX)

Asean Seas Line (ASL) and Emirates Shipping Line (ESL) will team up on the new North China Philippines Express (NPX2/NPX) service calling at Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Manila (S), Qingdao. Zim/GSL extends China Thailand Vietnam CT3 service

Zim/Gold Star Line is adding more port calls on the China Thailand Vietnam III (CT3) that will extend the service to reach North Asia from January 2023. The CT3 was launched on 25 November 2022 and had initially called at Ningbo, Xiamen, Nangha, Laem Chabang, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Haiphong, Yantian, Nansha, Ningbo using 3 ships of 1,700-2,000 teu. Shandong Port Shipping Group launch new Qingdao-Japan service in cooperation with Dongchen

Shandong Port Shipping Group (SPGS) has launched a new North China-Japan service connecting Qingdao, Yokohama, Tokyo, Qingdao, Osaka, Kobe, Qingdao in cooperation with Dongchen Line. The service combines the existing Qingdao-Kansai (QDKS) service to Osaka and Kobe  operated by Dongchen, with the new PES2 service to Yokohama and Tokyo in a butterfly pattern. The QDKS/PES2 service will deploy the 1,049 teu A KOU operated by Dongchen with the 1,043 teu PACANDA from SPGS, starting from 6 January

RCL and IAL launch new Vietnam Straits Myanmar (VSM) service

Regional Container Lines (RCL) and Interasia Lines (IAL) have teamed up to launch a new service connecting Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore, Port Klang (W), Port Klang (N), Yangon, Thilawa, Port Klang (W), Port Klang (N), Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City. The service turns in 3 weeks with 3 ships of 1,000-1,100 teu and is branded by RCL as the RCL Yangon-Hochiminh (RYH) and by IAL as the Vietnam-Straits-Myanmar (VSM) service. The service started on 19 December 2022 from Port Klang with the 1,118 teu PAN

Zhonggu Shipping has expanded further outside of its core China domestic market with the launch of its new China Malaysia Indonesia (CMI) service in November 2022. Sealand/Maersk launch new HP3 service to Haiphong after PH9 revision

Sealand Asia will launch a new HP3 service connecting Busan, Kaohsiung and Nansha with Haiphong as part of a revamp of its existing PH9 service with the South China to Cebu and Cagayan de Oro leg that will be incorporated in the new HP3. Zim/GSL launch new CT3 service

Zim/Gold Star Line (GSL) has launched a new China Thailand Vietnam III (CT3) service that connects Ningbo, Xiamen, Nangha, Laem Chabang, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Haiphong, Yantian, Nansha, Ningbo from 25 November 2022. The CT3 turns in 3 weeks using 3 Bangkokmax ships, the 1,762 teu MTT SANDAKAN and two 1,984 teu newbuildings MARLA TIGER and MARLA BULL that have just been chartered by Zim.
