SeaLead’s new Australia India Pakistan (ASIA) service has started on 21 March 2023 with the 4,395 teu REN JIAN 26 that has been newly chartered from Antong for a period of 6 months. The service calls at Port Klang, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Port Klang, Karachi, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Port Klang. The service will operate on an irregular frequency of around 3 to 4 weeks, with a second ship expected to phase in April.
TS Lines (TSL)has added a new Asia Indian Subcontinent 2 (AIS2) service after it joined Sinokor and Global Feeder Service (GFS) on their jointly operated Sinokor India Service 2 (SIS 2) / China Sub Continent (CSC) service. TS Lines replaced SeaLead as a partner on this service after the latter pulled out from the service in December 2022. SeaLead will launch a new Australia-Indian Subcontinent service branded as the ASIA service from 20 March. The service will start from 20 March 2023 with the 4,250 teu REN JIAN 26 and call at Port Klang, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Port Klang, Karachi, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Port Klang. The service will be operate on an irregular basis with only 2 ships with a frequency of 20-30 days, with plans to increase the frequency in the second half of 2023. Global Feeder Shipping (GFS) will launch a new Colombo-Kolkata service from 1 March 2023. The service calls weekly at Colombo, Kolkata, Colombo and turns in 14 days with the 1,440 teu AS RAFAELA and the 818 teu PREMIER.

MSC has launched a new INDIA TO EAST MED service connecting Abu Dhabi, Jebel Ali, Hamad, Jubail, Abu Dhabi, Karachi, Mundra, Hazira, King Abdullah Port, Alexandria, Tekirdag, Aliaga, Mersin, King Abdullah Port, Abu Dhabi. Bengal Tiger Line (BTL) has launched a new India-Saudi-Iraq (ISI) service that connects Mundra, Dammam, Umm Qasr, Mundra. The service will start on 8 February 2023 with the 929 teu XO LUCKY at Mundra. The move will mark BTL's return to the India West Coast where it has appointed Oasis Shipping as its agent. Oasis is BTL's current agent in East and South India.
MSC will launch a new India-West Med service connecting Abu Dhabi, Jebel Ali, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Djibouti, Gioia Tauro, Genoa, Barcelona, Valencia, Salerno, Gioia Tauro, Marsaxlokk, King Abdullah, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi. CMA CGM will launch a new India East Coast Express 2 (IEX 2) service connecting Singapore, Chennai, Colombo, Singapore from the end of May 2022. The service turn in 2 weeks using 2 ships of 1,700 teu starting from Singapore on 30 May 2022 with the 1,732 SONGA TIGER.
X-Press Feeders and Transworld Feeders have added a new call at Pipavav on the Nhava Sheva Mundra Gulf X-Press (NMG) service. The new NMG rotation will call Jebel Ali, Sohar, Pipavav, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Jebel Ali. The first Pipavav was made on 5 January 2022 by the 2,764 teu TSS SHAMS, with the second vessel the 2,826 teu X-PRESS EUPHRATES to make the next call on 13 January 2022.
