COSCO Shipping has added a new Singapore-Kota Kinabalu Service (KTS4) connecting Singapore,Kota Kinabalu,Singapore from 3 May 2026. The service turns in 7 days on a weekly frequency using the 707 teu TAN CANG GLORY. Ad hoc calls at Bintulu can also be provided on this service. The service replaces COSCO's previous Yangpu-Batam Express (YBX) service that connected Yangpu, Qinzhou, Kota Kinabalu, Batam, Singapore, Yangpu which has been withdrawn in April 2026 due to port congestion at Kota Kinab
SITC will launch a new China-Vietnam-Malaysia 2 (CVM2) service from 2 June 2024 calling at Shekou, Nansha, Kota Kinabalu, Qinzhou, Haiphong, Shekou. The service will turn in 14 days and deploys 2 ships, the 1,032 teu SITC PYOENGTAEK and 1,150 teu SITC RIZHAO.
Malaysian carrier Harbour Link has added a new link connecting Qinzhou in Guangxi to its Hong Kong Malaysia Express (HMX) service from 11 July 2023. The Qingzhou call will initially be made monthly on the HMX that deploys the 735 teu HARBOUR STAR and HARBOUR HORIZON. The HMX service operates on a 14 day turnaround to call weekly at Hong Kong, Nansha, Kota Kinabalu, Muara, Bintulu, Qinzhou (monthly call), Hong Kong
RCL has launched a new RCL East Malaysia (REM) service connecting Singapore, Kota Kinabalu, Muara, Bintulu, Singapore service from 10 October 2022 using the 628 teu SUPA BHUM. The service operates on a 14 day frequency.
