CNC to launch new Japan Philippines 8 (JP8) service

CMA CGM's intra Asia shipping arm, CNC will launch a new Japan Philippines 9 (JP8) service connecting Shekou, Nansha, Subic Bay, Batangas, Cebu, Davao, Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe Moji, Shekou from 15 September 2025. The JP8 service will turn in 28 days and will deploy 4 ships of 1,700-1,800 teu starting with the 1,781 teu LITTLE DOLPHIN at Shekou on 15 September 2025 to be followed by the 1,827 teu ARIONAS and ASTERIOS, and the 1,756 teu KUO LIN.

CNC, CK Line and SeaLead launch new Korea Indonesia 8 (KI8)/China Indonesia Korea (CIK)/Intra Asia Service (SEA7)

CMA CGM's intra-Asia arm CNC has teamed up with CK Line and SeaLead to launch a new Korea Indonesia 8 (KI8)/China Indonesia Korea (CIK)/Intra Asia Service (SEA7) connecting Busan, Incheon, Shanghai, Ningbo, Jakarta, Semarang, Ho Chi Minh City, Busan from 15 September 2025. The KI8/CIK/SEA7 service will turn in 28 weeks and deploys 4 ships of 1,700 to 2,800 teu starting with the 2,822 teu CNC PANTHER at Busan on 15 September to be followed by the 2,693 teu SKY PRIDE from CK Line and 1,732 teu HA

CMA CGM/CNC extends BMX service to Busan

CMA CGM and its intra-Asia arm, CNC will extend the Bohai Manila Express (BMX) service to South Korea with new calls at Busan from 15 May 2025. The extended BMX will call at Busan, Dalian, Xingang, Qingdao, Xiamen, Shantou, Shekou, Hong Kong, Nansha, Manila(N/S), Davao, Busan turning in 35 days using 5 ships of 2,700 teu to 4,600 teu.

CNC adds Singapore-Philippines 8 (SP8) service

CNC, the intra-Asia arm of CMA CGM, has added a new Singapore Philippines 8 (SP8) connecting Singapore, Davao, General Santos, Singapore from 2 March 2025. The SP8 will turn in 14 days using 2 geared containerships - the 1,114 teu CONTSHIP WAY and 1,118 teu VIMC DIAMOND. The service is aimed at the transport of reefer products from Mindanao including bananas, pineapples and other perishable products.

CMA CGM/CNC launch China Vietnam Express 8 (CV8)

CMA CGM and its intra-Asia arm CNC has introduced a new China Vietnam Express 8 (CV8) service calling at Shanghai, Ningbo, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai from 28 December 2024. The CV8 service turns in 14 days and deploys the 2,058 teu CMA CGM ESCURIAL and 1,756 teu KUO LIN.

CMA CGM and COSCO launch Thailand Indonesia Service(TIX2/MTS)

CMA CGM/CNC and COSCO have launched a new Thailand Indonesia Service (TIX2/MTS) connecting Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Singapore, Jakarta, Pasir Gudang, Singapore, Bangkok from 14 October 2024. The TIX2/MTS will turn in 14 days using the 1,032 teu PADIAN 3 from CMA CGM and 1,200 teu DANUM 175 from COSCO.

CNC launch Luzon Visayas Mindanao Express (LVMX)

CMA CGM's intra-Asia arm CNC will launch a new Luzon Visayas Mindanao Express (LVMX) service connecting Manila (N), Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Manila (N) from 22 September 2024. The service will operate on a weekly basis with the geared 1,037 teu SOFRANA TOURVILLE.

COSCO joins CNC on CP8 service

COSCO has joined CNC, the intra-Asia arm of CMA CGM, on the China Philippines 8 (CP8) service from 13 April 2024. COSCO will deploy 3,314 teu COLOMBO on the service to join the 2,782 teu CNC SERVAL on the service. The CP8 turns in 2 weeks and calls at Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Manila ( North and South), Fuzhou, Shanghai.

COSCO and OOCL join CNC in upgraded KCS and CHN1 service

COSCO and OOCL will join CNC, the intra-Asia arm of CMA CGM, in a new intra-Asia partnership involving 2 existing services operated by CNC that will both be upgraded to the 6,000-7,000 teu scale. The first service involves the existing CNC Korea China Straits Service (KCS) that calls at Xingang, Dalian, Lianyungang, Qingdao, Singapore, Jakarta, Surabaya, Manila, Xingang. The joint service will start from 29 December 2023, using 5 ships of which CNC will provide 4 ships (the 7,092 teu PELION, 6,

CMA CGM/CNC upgrades KCS service to the 6,000-7,000 teu scale

CMA CGM'S intra-Asia arm CNC has upgraded the Korea China Southeast Asia (KCS) service to the 6,000-7,000 teu scale, making it the largest dedicated intra-Asia service alongside Maersk/Sealand Asia's IA-8 service that deploys ships in the 6,000 teu size. These 2 intra-Asia services are the largest services in the North Asia-Southeast Asia corridor that commonly employs ships in the 1,700-4,200 teu scale.
