SeaLead Shipping will launch a new Asia-US East Coast (AEC) service from 6 March
2022 with 6,661 teu HAKUNA MATATA. The irregular service will deploy 3 ships
6,700 to 7,000 teu and call at Nansha, Ningbo, Qingdao, Busan, Norfolk, Newark,
Charleston, Jacksonville, Nansha. It had earlier sent the 6,966 teu TIMON on an
ad-hoc USEC trip in January.
The ships will be drawn from Sea Lead's existing services on the Asia-US West
Coast and Asia-Middle East routes. Sea Lead has been running ad hoc loader
