Reel Shipping has launched a new Damietta to St Petersburg service to take
advantage of the high demand for Russian imports from Asia via transhipment at
Damietta.
The service started from 24 January 2023 and deploys 5 ships of 1,730 teu to
2,700 teu. Sailing frequencies are irregular at the moment, ranging from 2 days
to 16 days. The service replaces a direct China-St Petersburg option that Reel
Shipping initiated on 6 December 2022 when it made a single sailing with the
2,497 teu CERUS that
