2022 Global Throughput Likely Grow 0.3% YoY

Maersk has lowered its outlook for 2022 global container demand growth to between -4% to -2%, compared to its earlier guidance made in August 2022 of between -1% and +1%. EMC, YMM and WHL reported October top line. In aggregate, which provide better read through for the industry, revenue in USD fell 15% MoM and 33% YoY, probably would be taken as positive surprises since the fall is less than CCFI. Zhonggu Logistics is launching a new China Malaysia Indonesia (CMI) service connecting China-Malaysia-Indonesia from November. SeaLead maintains China-LA link through slots on Transfar

SeaLead will continue to serve the China-US West Coast market by taking slots on Transfar's sailings between Ningbo and Long Beach from November 2022. SeaLead has ceased to call at the US West Coast since 15 October when the 3,534 teu SONIC made its last call at Long Beach.
