Emirates Shipping Line (ESL) will launch 2 services connecting its Southeast Asia hub of Port Klang with the Indonesian ports of Jakarta and Surabaya in January 2023. The JKT service connecting Port Klang, Jakarta, Port Klang will start on 6 January 2023 and the SUB service connecting Port Klang, Surabaya, Port Klang will start from 8 January 2023. Both of these services are offered through a slot arrangement with RCL who are operating the feeder services as part of its ASEAN feeders network.

HMM and NYK Bulk & Projects (NBP) have signed a collaboration agreement on 19 December 2022 to jointly operate a weekly break-bulk liner service between the Far East and Middle East. HMM currently operates 4 owned mpp ships of 30,100 dwt/1,888 teu equipped with 2 heavy-lift cranes of 320 tons that can be combined to lift 640 tons. Ellerman has launched a new USA Express transatlantic service that connects Antwerp, Rotterdam, Tilbury, New York, Wilmington, Jacksonville, Antwerp starting from 12 December 2022.
