Zim/GSL will launch a new India-Africa Express (IAX) service connecting Western India with Kenya and Tanzania in East Africa from September 2022. The IAX will call at Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Mombasa, Dar Es Salaam, Nhava Sheva with 3 ships of 1,100 teu. The first official sailing will be made by the 1,134 teu ASIATIC NEPTUNE at Nhava Sheva on 7 September 2022. Zim/Gold Star Line will launch a new China Haiphong Express (CHX) service connecting Shanghai, Ningbo, Haiphong, Xiamen, Shanghai using 2 ships of 1,000 teu on a 14 day rotation. The CHX will start from 7 July 2022 with the 966 teu CONTSHIP PEP, followed a week later by the 1,049 teu ASIATIC PRIDE.

Zim and its affiliate Gold Star Line will launch a new Bangladesh Thailand Service (BTS) from 13 April 2022 to connect Laem Chabang, Port Klang, Chennai, Colombo, Laem Chabang. Zim will launch a new ZIM Ecommerce Baltimore Express (ZXB) service that calls at Yantian, Cai Mep, Baltimore, New York, Boston, Yantian. The service will be operated initially on a fortnightly basis using 5 ships of 2,700-3,400 teu on a 70 days rotation and will be upgraded to a weekly frequency at a later date.
