Allseas has received its first long term chartered ship the 1,878 teu ALLSEAS PIONEER that will be deployed on its China Xpress (CEX) service that connects Ningbo, Dongguan and Liverpool starting from 10 March 2022. The service was first introduced by Allseas in April 2021 and had previous relied on various short term charters using mainly multi-purpose cargo ships. The ALLSEAS PIONEER (ex HUA MAO 369, VALDIVIA) is a general cargo vessel built in 2003 that has been modified in the last 2 months

Asean Seas Lines will revise 2 of its South China to Central and Northern Vietnam services, with CNC taking slots. The Hong Kong Danang Service (HDS) will start on 28 February 2022 and call at Hong Kong, Shekou, Nansha, Danang, Hong Kong with the 357 teu HUA KAI. The 2M/SM Line strategic cooperation agreement on the Far East-West Coast North America route will be terminated on 8 May 2022, one year earlier than scheduled. The 2M/SM Line cooperation started in April 2020 after HMM ended the 2M cooperation to join THE Alliance. The agreement was expected to run until March 2023, but has been prematurely terminated by the three parties.
