MSC will revise the rotation of the FE-USEC Santana service from 24 August 2023 to call at Laem Chabang, Cai Mep, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Manzanillo, Cristobal, Caucedo, New York, Norfolk, Laem Chabang. The addition of new calls at Manzanillo and Cristobal allows MSC to offload cargo before the Panama Canal transit due to draft restrictions imposed by the ACP. The revision comes just 11 weeks after the Santana rotation was last changed on 8 June 2023 to call at Haiphong, Shanghai, Ningbo, Bus

Two new entrants to the liner trades CStar Line and Uniglobal Shipping have jointly launched a new China-Turkey service aimed at the Russian market. The service calls at Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Ambarli, Shanghai, Qingdao using 4 ships of 1,700-2,700 teu that will provide sailings on alternate weeks. COSCO Shipping's intra-European arm, Diamond Line has teamed up with OOCL to launch a new Turkey Spain Morocco Express (TSM) service starting from 1 September 2023. The service will call at Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Derince, Gemlik, Aliaga, Piraeus, Valencia, Casablanca, Algeciras, Barcelona, Piraeus on a 28 day rotation using 4 ships of 1,900 teu. FESCO has launched a new FESCO Indian Service that connects Novorossiysk, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Novorossiysk with the 1,118 teu FESCO ASKOLD from 28 July 2023. The service will turn in about 40 days using a single ship at the moment.

Akkon Lines have launched a new Turkey Israel Service (TIS) connecting Iskenderun, Ashdod, Haifa, Iskenderunn from 4 August 2023 with the 803 teu JSP RIDER. The service will turn in 11-12 days and complement's Akkon's existing Israel Service (IS) that connects Ambarli, Gebze, Gemlik, Aliaga, Ashdod, Haifa, Ambarli on a weekly basis using the 1,118 teu KAPPA and VENTO.

IRIS Lines have pulled out from the international markets and have returned to its Philippines roots after pulling out the 1,118 teu IRIS PAOAY from the Thailand Philippines route. The IRIS PAOAY was acquired by IRIS Lines in 2017 and was trading in the Philippines domestic routes until 23 September 2021 when IRIS redeployed the ship to the Transpacific. United Africa Feeder Line (UAFL) has extended its Middle East Express (MEX) service to Nacala with the first call at the Mozambique port scheduled on 19 August 2023. CMA CGM will add a new call at Gdansk on the Asia-Europe FAL 1 service that is operated as part of the OCEAN Alliance NEU1 service from the westbound rotation starting from 10 August 2023. The service is branded respectively as AEU2 by COSCO, LL4 by OOCL and FAL1 by Evergreen. Wan Hai and Feedertech/Unifeeder have teamed up to launch a new India-Middle East Service (IM1/IMS) that will call at Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Jebel Ali, Port Qasim, Mundra. The service will turn in 2 weeks and deploys the 1,858 teu BIG BREEZY from Wan Hai that will join the service on 1 August 2023 and the 1,613 teu SSL MUMBAI from Feedertech that joins on 8 August 2023.
