Several carriers have announced their participation in the new X-Press Feeders North China-India West Coast X-Press (NWX) service that is operated jointly with Maersk, which brands it as the FI3 (Far East-India 3) that will start from October 2023. ONE, ESL and Sinokor have all announced their participation in the service, branding it respectively by ONE as Northeast Asia to Pakistan and India (NPI), ESL as Far East West India (FWI) and Sinokor as the North China-India West Coast Express (NWX).

Safeen Feeders has launched a new UAE Pakistan Gulf (UPG) service that connect Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Bahrain, Karachi, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi from 10 September 2023. The service turns in 14 days and deploys the 2,542 teu SAFEEN PRIME and SAFEEN PRIZE.

MSC has added a Mex Gulf to Central America service through slots on Zim's Central America Gulf Xpress (CGX) that calls at Kingston, Houston, Altamira, Kingston, Moin, Santo Tomas de Castilla, Puerto Cortes, Kingston using 3 ships of 900-1,100 teu. The move follows the announcement of Zim's new operational collaboration agreement with MSC on trades connecting the Indian subcontinent with the East Mediterranean, the East Mediterranean with Northern Europe, and services connecting East Asia with

TS Lines will join Maersk/Sealand Asia on the new IA-10 service that calls at Taichung, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Shekou, Sihanoukville, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Ho Chi Minh City, Batangas, Manila (North), Taichung. The service turns in 21 days using 3 ships with TS Lines adding the 1,808 teu TS BANGKOK to the service from 20 August 2023, joining the 1,774 teu NORDMAAS and 1,781 teu HELGOLAND from Maersk.

Evergreen will launch a new Thailand-Vietnam-Philippine (TVP) service from 25 September 2023. The service will turn in 28 days using 4 ships of 1,900 teu and call at Hong Kong, Shekou, Nansha, Ho Chi Minh City, Laem Chabang, Haiphong, Kaohsiung, Manila (North Port), Subic Bay, Hong Kong. The 4 ships to be deployed on the initial cycle are the 1,930 teu KANWAY LUCKY and the 1,984 teu trio EVER CLEAR, EVER COPE and EVER CORE. Evergreen TVP service

ONE will launch a new Florida Latin Express (FLX) service from 4 October 2023. The service will turn in 28 days using 4 ships of 1,400-1,700 teu and call at Callao, Paita, Guayaquil, Cartagena, Port Everglades, Puerto Cortes, Cartagena, Callao. The 4 ships will be positioning from Europe and Asia to join the new service, including the 1,436 teu ESSENCE, 1,740 teu HANSA SIEGBURG and the 1,781 teu newbuilding LANGENESS. CMA CGM has withdrawn its new Turkey Libya Express (TLX) service after just 6 sailings from Asia to the Red Sea, Turkey and Libya. The service start on 2 July 2023 with the 2,468 teu BUXLINK and called at Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Singapore, Jeddah, Iskenderun, Malta, Misurata with several ad hoc calls at Lianyungang and Tripoli. Only 6 headhaul sailings were conducted by the 3,534 teu HOPE ISLAND, 4,506 teu CMA CGM OSAKA, 4,294 teu CMA CGM MONTOIR, 4,253 teu CMA CGM PERTH and 4,404 teu CMA CG

Sinokor has launched a new Greater China-Russia Service (GRS) connecting Yantian, Nansha, Xiamen, Shanghai, Vostochny, Yantian from 3 September 2023 with the newly chartered 2,902 teu TB BRIGHT CITY. The new service will turn in 3 weeks and will operate in conjunction with 2 other ships operated by CStar Line (the 2,206 teu MAO GANG GUANG ZHOU and MAO GANG QUAN ZHOU) that will run on the same route, with CStar branding the services as the Far East-Far East Service 1 (FEFE1)

MSC has launched a new Zambezi Express service that connects Port Louis and Beira using the 3,301 teu MSC ALEXA and 2,764 teu MSC PATNAREE III. The service started from 16 August 2023 and turns in 12-14 days with the 2 ships providing weekly departures from Mauritius and Mozambique.

New New Shipping has deployed 4 ships on the China-St Petersburg Northern Sea Route service after the successful eastbound trial voyage by the 1,638 teu NEWNEW POLAR BEAR that finished its St Petersburg-Shanghai trip on 14 August after a 38 day voyage. The same ship has departed from Xingang on 22 August for a westbound voyage to St Petersburg, joining the 1,220 teu XIN XIN HAI 1 and the 2,741 teu XIN XIN TIAN 1 that have departed earlier on 1 August and 31 July respectively on the same route t
