Hede Shipping will launch a 3rd independent HDS3 transpacific shuttle service connecting Nansha, Los Angeles, Nansha from 15 July 2025. The HDS3 will turn in 6 weeks and will be operated on a fortnightly frequency using 3 ships starting with the 4,298 teu REN JIAN 8 at Nansha on 15 July, followed by the 2,702 teu DORIS OCEAN on 29 July and the 4,395 teu REN JIAN 16 on 12 August.
Hede Shipping has revised the rotation of its Hede US West Coast Direct Express 2 (HEX2) service to call at Huanghua, Shanghai, Los Angeles, Huanghua from 17 November 2024, with the former call at Ningbo dropped. The HEX2 is the first transpacific service to call at Huanghua in Hebei province in Northeastern China. The HEX2 currently deploys 5 ships of 1,700 to 2,800 teu, with a 6th ship expected to be added as the HEX2 rotation will increase from 35 days to 42 days.
Hede Shipping has launched a second transpacific service branded as the Hede US West Coast Direct Express (HDX) from 11 September 2024. The HDX service turns in 5 weeks and calls at Ningbo, Los Angeles, Ningbo using 5 ships of 1,800 to 2,700 teu starting with the 1,809 teu ADAMASTOS at Ningbo on 11 September. 4 more vessels will be phased in subsequently, including the 1,738 teu HANSA DUBURG and 2,741 teu POSEN and PONA. The service started on 21 March 2024 with the 3,426 teu BFAD ATLANTIC, followed 3 more chartered ships joining in succession - the 4,298 teu REN JIAN 10, 1,809 teu ANDROKLIS and 2,782 teu ADONIS.
Hede Shipping will launch a new transpacific service from 20 March 2023 with the first sailing connecting Shanghai to Los Angeles using the 3,426 teu BFAD ATLANTIC. At Los Angeles, the service is scheduled to call at West Basin Container Terminal (WBCT) on 3 April. Tangshan Hede Shipping has launched a new China-Vietnam-Thailand 1 (CVT1) service that will provide the first direct connection between its home port of Tangshan with Vietnam and Thailand via transhipment at Nansha. The CVT1 service connects Nansha, Ho Chi Minh City, Laem Chabang, Nansha. The service started on 7 April 2023 with the 1,096 teu HS HONG KONG that has joined Hede Shipping on a 6 to 8 months charter at $13,000 per day.
